This feeling
Ever since I've met you,
you've caused this feeling in me,
An overwhelming feeling of numbness.
Not just numbness in feeling,
but in thoughts as well.
I am blind to the world around me.
Time passes and I don't even notice,
and I couldn't even care less.
As the world spins,
I stand still
in awe of you.
Your heart is amazing,
and something I definately never expected.
The warmth in your eyes
that I could look into all night.
The comfort in your arms
that keeps me looking forward to tomorrow.
My body is empty
with the absence of you,
but my heart is full
with the mere thought of you.
All of these feelings
I never thought I'd share,
I'm glad to have them
with a special someone - you.
